Define The Church

It has been a while since I posted and I don’t have much time today, but I want to write a post in the near future about the church.  So, for the two of you who read this blog, I want to ask you to define the church.  I think this will be a fun and exciting study.

  1. I guess I am one of the two. 😉

Briefly, the church is the body of individuals who will spend eternity with the Lord worshiping Him forever.

The Church, in the broadest use of the term, is made up of those who have acknowledged Jesus Christ as Lord and placed their faith in Him for salvation from sin and the consequential judgment of God that results in death.

Just had to let you know there are 3 of us who read your blogs, and love them!
From a woman’s point of view, the church is the bride of Christ, consisting of those He calls, and it’s purpose is to glorify God.
